Q.1 How do I place an order on Home Shop? A.1 - Placing your first order at Home Shop? Just select the items you want to shop, add them in the shopping cart and proceed for the payment. Enter and save your shipping address details and payment information. If you need any assistance, feel free to call us. Q.2 How does the order get delivered? A.2 - The order gets delivered through our trusted courier partners at your doorstep within the shortest specified time. Q.3 How do I know if the order has been placed successfully? A.3 - Once your order has been placed successfully, you will receive a confirmatory e-mail and a text message from Home Shop at your registered phone number. This mail has all the details related to the order. Alternatively, you can also view the order details at My Account> My Orders. Q.4 Can we place orders over phone? A.4 - Yes orders can be placed over phone. The payment can be made through online modes of transaction or through COD also. Q.5 Can I place a bulk order for an item(s)? A.5 - In case you wish to place bulk order for an item, please drop an email at homeshopretails@gmail.com and the concerned team will get back to you at the earliest . Q.6 I am placing an order for my loved ones. Will he/she receive the price tag and invoice? A.6 - Due to the prevalent rules and regulations of online selling ,an invoice and price tags are sent intact with the item so that the goods are returnable and replaceable if your loved ones wishes to. Although the return and refund is applicable to select products only. Q.7 Is gift wrapping done if we are buying the products for our loved ones? A.7 - Yes, gift wrapping is done for a select category of products. Please give a call on 91-7840866469,if you wish to opt for Gift wrapping. Q.8 How do I try a product that I purchased online from Home Shop? A.8 - We encourage the buyers to try the items they bought, ensuring that the original price tags are intact, unwashed and undamaged so that the product is in perfectly re-salable condition. Please note that all categories are not returnable. Q.9 Can I add more items to my order after I have placed an order? A.9 - No.However you can place another order conveniently.

Payments, Cancellations and Returns

Q.10 Which payment methods do you accept? A.10 - We accept payments via Master Card or net banking. We also accept payments via “cash on delivery” at the time of delivery of the product with a convenience/delivery charge associated with it. For a certain category of product, only payment through credit /debit card and net banking are available. Q. 11 Is it safe to use my credit /debit card for online shopping with Home Shop? A.11 - All online transactions made at Home Shop are end to end SSL encrypted which make them extremely safe. Q.12 What is the process for Cash on Delivery (COD) purchase? A.12 - When you make a purchase selecting the COD option, the product is booked. You will receive a call from us to confirm the order before the product gets dispatched. Q.13 Is there a charge for COD purchase? A.13 - There is a convenience charge of Rs 99 on COD orders. This charge is not applicable on pre-paid orders. Q.14 Is there a purchase limit for COD purchase? A.14 - There is a purchase limit of Rs 20,000 for COD orders. Q.15 How can I pay if COD option is not available at my delivery address? A.15 - If COD is not available at your delivery address, you can opt for Credit/debit or Net banking option. Q.16 Why isn’t COD available at your delivery address? A.16 - COD is not available for certain locations and certain products on our catalogue. In that case, opt for alternate payment methods. Q.17 I tried placing the order using my debit card /Credit Card/Net Banking, but the order was not successful. What happens to the money deducted from my card? A.17 - I f your account has been debited after a payment failure, it is normally deposited back by banks within 7 business days which may vary from bank to bank. If your bank informs you otherwise and the money has been credited into our account, we would initiate the refund within 3 days of your request. Receipt of the refund would however depend on the mode of payment chosen by you. Net Banking 2-4 business days Debit Card 5-7 business days Credit Card 7-21 business days Q.18 I tried placing the order with my Home Shop credits points but the payment was unsuccessful. What happen to my credit points deducted from my account? A.18 - The refund for the deducted points will be initiated within 3 days in the event of unsuccessful payment attempt. Q.19 What is Home shop’s return policy and how long will the return process take? A.19 - If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return or replace your order within 48 hours. Refund or replacement is subject to intactness original price and product tags so that the resale ability is assured which is thoroughly checked by Home Shop inspection team. Once the product return is filed, our courier partner collects the unused product which is then inspected at our warehouse. The replacements and refunds are initiated two days after the inspection. Q.20 How do I receive my refund? A.20 - A refund is initiated when a product is returned in resalable condition with all the original product tags intact.If the payment was made by credit/debit card or through net banking,Home Shop credits or a refund is made to your registered bank account in the event of return or unsuccessful payment attempt. In case of a COD payment ,refund is made to the registered bank account or Home Shop credit points are transferred which can be used for further purchases.In case of transaction through Home Shop credits,only Home Shop credits are transferred in the event of refund.
